Hello love! First name Laura, middle name Louise, and I'm so happy you're here!
Born and raised in Maryland, and will forever be a Maryland girl at heart. I relocated to Virginia in 2015 after graduating from the University of Maryland, College Park (GO TERPS). Now, I live in Northern Virginia with my college sweetheart, our 3 rescue pups and our baby boy.
My love language...flowers, candles, cathedral veils and more flowers. Design elements are my jam and favorite part of planning a wedding. I love making couples dreams a reality, not to mention seeing the look on their faces when they see their dream wedding come together for the first time. I started my planning journey in college, planning my sorority's events, along with various corporate and charity events. After graduation, I started shadowing wedding planners in the industry, learning the ever-changing world that we call wedding planning, and the rest is history!
I'm best known for my attention to detail, pushing the envelope with my design ideas and my timeless, elegant design style. I love putting my own unique twist on everything I do. I don't just plan an event, I create an experience, one you and your guests will remember for a lifetime!

When I'm not planning a wedding, you can find me teaching at a local dance studio. I've been a dancer my entire life, winning multiple regional and national awards for both dancing and choreography. Dance is another passion of mine, and another outlet to be creative.
Summer is my favorite season and you better believe I am always down for a trip to the beach. Let's be real, I would live there if I could! Nothing rejuvenates me more than sitting on the beach (ALL day), soaking up the sun with a drink in my hand, listening to the waves crash at the shore. I also love to snorkel and collect sea glass.
Lush, fresh flowers, warm candle light and cathedral veils are my three FAVORITE things. Weddings are a celebration, and I believe every wedding is beautiful in it's own way. I often get the question "what is your style?", and I always say, timeless but with a twist. Summer is my favorite season but winter weddings are my absolute favorite. I was married January 2020 at Stone Tower Winery, so maybe I am a tad biased, however, there is something about snow, white fur wraps, bare, silhouette trees, warm candlelight and earth tones that just speak to me!
I played softball for many years, and come from a serious baseball fam, but hockey is my favorite sport. I love my Washington Capitals and I rarely ever miss a game on TV. Being inside Capital One Area (front row I might add) the night we won the cup, glorious! There is nothing like an in-person hockey game. Haven't been to a game?! GO! I'll see ya there!
I would love to bring your wedding day vision to life! Hop on over to my contact form to tell me a few details about the big day and then let's set up a time to chat! Can't wait!
